Rock Hall, MD native, Chris Kendall, brings deep Eastern Shore roots, steady leadership, and a lifetime of business experience to everything he does. Raised in a family of respected local entrepreneurs, Chris’s connection to the Rock Hall community runs generations deep. His grandfather built and operated Kendall’s Marina, now known as North Point Marina & Motel, while his family also owned Eagle Hill Florist, the town’s only flower shop, as well as K-Foods, now known as Bayside Foods. They also built and operated Pasta Plus for more than 35 years.
Today, Chris continues that entrepreneurial legacy, having purchased the real estate and leasing it to The Little Lemon Leaf Diner. If you haven’t been, you should try it! Best Cream of Crab Soup in the area!
After moving to Chestertown, Maryland in 1998, Chris built an impressive career at Huls America Chemical Company in Worton, Maryland, now known as Eastman Chemical. He began there at just 18 years old and retired at age 48, choosing to focus full-time on growing Kendall Properties, the exclusive property management company he and his wife founded in 2012.
Chris is known for his calm demeanor, level-headed approach, and ability to navigate stressful situations with confidence and clarity. He is a thoughtful communicator who values understanding others without judgment—qualities that have earned him trust throughout the community. Outside of work, Chris enjoys the challenge of saving money, a good game of pool, and continuing to invest in the place he has always called home.
