Chris is a Seton Hill University Alumnus. She settled in Chestertown in 2001 after spending many years living abroad with her Foreign Service husband, Joe, and 3 children, Jamie, Peter and Molly. Originally from Philadelphia Pa, she has lived in East Haddam Ct, Washington DC, The Dominican Republic, Singapore, Hong Kong and the Philippines. Chris first obtained her Real Estate license in Connecticut in 1985.

Karen was a founding member of Kent County’s Local Management Board, and Eastern Neck National Wildlife Refuges’ friends group. At present, she is a member of Kent County’s Tourism Development Board. Joe is a Hamilton College Alumnus. He has maintained one of the “Top 100 Farm Management Business’s,” as named by Agri-Finance Magazine since 1992. Joe is also an active Board Member of the Eastern Shore Land Conservancy. He and his wife, Marianne, raised their four children on their Kent County family farm and recently celebrated their 4th and final college graduation.
